What is EFK?
Your Gateway to Owning the Future of Education
As an Engineering For Kids franchise partner, you’ll operate a multi-revenue business that transforms how kids ages 4-14 experience STEM learning. Our officially accredited curriculum (STEM.org and Cognia approved) offers programs for every age group, delivered through Kelvin’s Classroom, our robust learning management system.
You’re Not Just Teaching STEM. You’re Building Problem-Solvers.
While other programs focus on memorizing facts, your students learn to think like engineers. They don’t just learn about robotics; they build robots. They don’t just study coding; they create programs. Every child leaves knowing they can invent, solve, and build anything they imagine, and they carry that excitement back to the classroom and into their future.

Our nation’s public-school system is critically lacking in STEM education, yet employers within the United States and beyond are increasingly seeking workers who are skilled in these subjects. The demand for engineering jobs is high, while the supply of qualified workers is low. Parents know their kids need these skills, but don’t know where to find quality programs. We aim to bridge this gap by developing STEM skills in young people, creating the qualified workforce that tomorrow’s economy demands.
Engineering For Kids gives families what schools often can’t: early exposure to real engineering experiences that boost confidence, improve grades, and open career doors. You become the bridge between what kids learn in textbooks and what they’ll actually use in tomorrow’s economy.
The Brain-Building Years That Matter Most
Ages 4–14 represent the golden window when young minds are naturally wired for discovery and experimentation. This is when children:
- Build the mental frameworks they’ll use for life-long learning
- Develop confidence through hands-on success with real challenges
- Form their identity as someone who can figure things out
The Research Backs It Up
Kids who experience quality STEM programs early are:
-
90% of parents believe STEM education is important, but only 50% think schools provide it well³

Professional From Day One
Launch your franchise with the same professional marketing presence as established competitors, backed by a nationally recognized brand that parents trust with their children's education.
Recession-Proof Business Model
Your franchise isn’t dependent on one income source. You can adapt your offerings based on what your community needs:
- Shift from premium camps to affordable weekly sessions
- Partner with schools using federal STEM education grants
- Offer virtual programs when in-person isn’t possible
- Focus on birthday parties and special events when other programs pause
- Built-In Institutional Support
Many of your revenue streams come from schools and organizations using government funding earmarked explicitly for STEM education.
This makes your programs less dependent on individual family budgets and more supported by institutional priorities that remain funded even during economic uncertainty.
